I don't know about most people but I actually enjoy watching the grammy's. Unlike other award shows with boring speeches and quick transitions to the next presenters etc - the grammy's is jam packed with performances! AND i LOVE it!!
Let's be honest some performances are boring and some musicians speeches are whack, but for the most part it's entertaining, even more so if you are multi-tasking while watching. It's just like having the radio on in the background - except it's live.
Collaborations GALLORE - old school 50 and 60s music with new school singers Ne-yo and Jamie Foxx. The new version of the "rat pack"(...well they're far from the original), young pop stars Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift among other many others.
Big winner of the night was former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant. His collaboration with blulegrass Alison Krauss earned numerous awards.
It's just plain sad: So, Chris Brown and Rihanna cancelled their performances/presenter spots suddenly. Well, the truth isin't quite out yet but everyone knows pretty well what happened. A case of domestic violence. Poor Rihanna. If Chris Brown did hit her multiple times (and reports suggest that this violent abuse between the couple has been happening for quite some time now) I hope he gets everything that's coming to him. Just not cool.
Overall, the grammy's were fun to watch. I hope you guys enjoyed it too :)
